ohhh boy…Roommates..let’s see…Freshman year @ Hampton… being an Architecture major in college, and in an HBCU band, i didnt spend much time in my room..but luckily for my roommate, he rarely spent time in there alone!..because he was pretty popular…w/ the women… i think he was Mr. Freshman now that i think back.. so yeah, not to mention we had a dorm director that was “cool” and “hip”.. who let him sneak girls in all the time.. the funny thing is, once my roommate settled down and found a girlfriend, she was in there all the time..so our 10 foot square tiny box of a dorm room had 3 people livin’ in there many times..haha… Of course it’s all fun ‘n games until you come home tired from the Architecture labs at 3am and walk in on your 2 roommates..well..you know…….yeah…i think i went blind momentarily, after turning around as fast as possible…..and i also slept on the couch in the dorm hall that night..haha

I am most definitely a college survivor…
My first semester in school I roomed with girl who had tendencies that were completely opposite than I. I mean, she went sleep early, I went late. I liked cold, she liked to be warm. She was MESSY and I always kept my side neat. But I could live with that. What I couldn’t live with was her cheese fetish. She loved cheese. Which by itself seems fine. But she liked the smelly cheese. And living in a small room that gets warm during the day…it wasn’t a good look at all. So I would walk in and be smacked in the face with the scent of smelly cheese. And on top of that we shared a refrigerator that I bought, so half the time it was filled with her huge rolls of cheese. Eventually I moved out and moved in with a girl I met in one of my classes, but I am in a similar predicament now (2 years later).

oh mi gosh…smelly cheese is the worst!! you got another cheese girl 2 years later?!

Fortunately not another cheese girl, just another bad roommate. A roommate that doesn’t understand the difference between junky and dirty, lol! So I am still dealing with a smelly room!

I just watched this and laughed out loud all over again. JamTown has been cooking fish lately, but she always cleans up after herself.

I know I’m late w/ my roommate from Hell story, but my senior year, I had an apartment with 3 girls I didn’t really know, but they were all friends. I would walk into the apartment, and the whole living room would be full of people I didn’t know. They would be talking and laughing loud, sometimes at ALL hours. I hated it.
One day, I was in my room sleep and my roommate’s friend was snapping on something she thought I did in the bathroom that she found disgusting. She was calling me all kind of names and just snapping (not realizing I was in my room). I walked out of my room, brushed past her and went into the kitchen. She couldn’t say SH*T! She was busted!!!!! LOL!!!!!
On another note, I think Lee Young is great! You are lucky to know him!

oooo what a wear out! i can’t even imagine having to deal with a situation like that. I hope you join the movie club and add your thoughts!
